Which website builder are you on?

The steps differ, and on two of them so does whether it works at all

On something else?

It almost certainly still works. Any website that lets you add HTML to a page can run the line — the control is usually called an Embed, a Custom HTML block, or a Code block.

  1. Find the page you want it on and look for a way to add HTML — it is usually called an Embed, Custom HTML, or Code block.
  2. Paste the line where you want the content to appear.
  3. Save and publish the page.
  4. If you cannot find one, send the line to whoever built your site — they will know where it goes.

We only write out named steps for builders somebody has checked against the vendor’s own documentation. Writing plausible-looking steps from memory is how you send a church in circles, so the list above is deliberately short rather than impressively long.
