Pop-ups no longer open behind your menus
On sites with a menu bar that stays fixed at the top of the screen, the sermon and event pop-ups were opening underneath it — your navigation showed straight through the middle of them. They now open above everything on the page, whatever your theme does. Nothing to change on your end.

The series view shows series, and says what it is not showing
If you use the style with the messages/series switch, sermons that are not part of a series no longer take up a card in the series view — and a line underneath tells you how many there are, with a link straight to them. The plain series style still groups them together, because there is no switch on that one and they would otherwise be unreachable from the page.

A one-off message no longer hides behind a series
In the series view, a series containing a single message now shows as that message — its own title and date — and opens straight to it, instead of showing a card you had to click through to reach one sermon. Sermons that are not in any series are still collected together, under a heading that now says “Not in a series” rather than “Other messages”, so it is clearer what is in there.

Your embed now shows while you are editing the page
If you build your site with WPBakery, Elementor, Divi or anything like them, the embed used to disappear while you were editing and only come back after saving — which made it impossible to set the padding and background around something you could not see. It now reappears as soon as the builder redraws the block. Nothing changes on your live page; this is only about what you see while working on it.

Easier to tap on a phone
The links your visitors use to watch a sermon, open something in Church Center, or see the details of an event are now proper buttons — the same size as Register and Give, with a visible outline. They were small enough that a thumb could miss them, which matters because most people reach your site on a phone. Nothing moved; everything just got easier to hit.

Let visitors switch between messages and series
Sermons has a new style: your messages as cards, with a dropdown letting a visitor flip to your series artwork and open any series to see what is inside it. Someone following a link to last Sunday wants the message; someone browsing your archive wants the series — now they choose, rather than you choosing for them. You can rename both words to whatever your church calls them.

Groups were not appearing for some churches
If your church had any groups at all, none of them were reaching your site — the rest of your products synced normally, so nothing looked obviously wrong. This is fixed and groups are syncing again. It affected every church with groups, and we are sorry: it went unnoticed because the only connected church at the time had none.

We tell you when someone else connects Planning Center
Planning Center gives access to a person rather than to a church, so when a colleague connects, the connection moves to them — we read your data as them from that point, and what they can see is what we can show. You now get an email when that happens, naming who it moved to, instead of finding out weeks later because something stopped appearing.

Your notification address belongs to whoever set up the subscription
Whoever subscribes now receives the service and billing emails automatically, and only they can point those emails somewhere else — an office manager, a shared mailbox, whoever makes sense. Before, our emails followed whoever had connected Planning Center most recently, which meant a colleague signing in could quietly take over where your notices went.

Your plan is on your dashboard
The menu behind your church name now says whether you are on the monthly or the annual plan, next to whether your site is published. Billing still opens Stripe, where you can change your card or cancel — this is just so you can see which plan you are on without leaving.

See at a glance that your site is syncing
The Pages tab now shows whether we are reading your Planning Center data normally, when it last updated, and — if something is wrong — whether it is ours to fix or needs you to reconnect. If it is on our end, we are told automatically and you do not need to report it.

Annual billing is now available at $190 a year instead of $19 a month. Same plan, same modules, same everything — just a different clock. Choose it when you subscribe, or switch any time from the billing portal.

Your content refreshes on time, every time
The schedule that keeps your embeds current now runs on dedicated infrastructure with guaranteed delivery, replacing a system that was quietly running late. Content updates about every 15 minutes, as promised — and we now measure that rather than assume it.
