What is the difference between this and Calendar?

This combines your signups and your calendar into one page. It shows only what those two already publish, so if something is missing, fix it in whichever of them owns it and this follows.

Planning Center Registrations + Calendar

Most people arriving at a church events page are looking for something to sign up for. A few want to know everything that is on. This gives them one dropdown to move between the two, with category and month filters on whichever they are looking at.

It is the two products you already have, presented together — nothing new to keep up to date. Both halves stay gated exactly as they are on their own pages.

What shows, and what decides that

Whatever your signups and calendar already publish. This view never widens either one.

That is the privacy model for the whole product rather than a setting for this one module. Every embed has to name the Planning Center flag that makes its data public — a flag you control, before we ever read it — and a module that cannot name one does not ship.

How current it is

Within about 15 minutes. Planning Center offers no notification for signups or for edits to a calendar event, so we check on a schedule — the same as the two products it draws from.

This one reads no new Planning Center data of its own — it presents Registration catalog and Calendar & events together on one page, which is what a church actually links to from their menu.

Putting it on your site

One line of code on the page where you want it, on the website you already have. The steps depend on what that site is built with — Squarespace, WordPress, Wix, or anything else that lets you add HTML.

Events page is included in the one subscription along with every other embed, and connecting Planning Center renders your own data before you pay for anything.
